permanently exhibits the works of the sculptor Toshio Yodoi, a pioneer of
Japanese modern and contemporary arts, who was born in Asago.
He was professor at the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music. He won prestigious awards as “the person of cultural merits” in 1994 and “the person of the order of the culture award” in 2001.
The museum is willing to collect lifeworks and information about the sculptor Toshio Yodoi.
